Love this shoe!

I am giving this review a 4 star because the sizing with Altras vary between styles and it is very frustrating. This shoe in size 8 is just too small and the 8.5 is way too big. I kept the 8 and use them in the gym. I ordered 8.5 and added an extra insole for running. Color is super fun. As always, love the toe spaces in this shoe.

Doesn't fit custom orthotics

I originally had this shoe in a 6.5 which fit perfectly. Hiked about 50kms in them without any discomfort. Was recently diagnosed with a foot issue and now need custom orthotics which didn't fit the original size. Went up a half size but the ankle is too short. I'd recommend this shoe for anyone who doesn't need orthotics.

Comfortable

I have enjoyed Lone Peak for two years now and this is my third pair. I appreciated that the LP7 fit essentially the same as LP6 and I could purchase them online without trying them before.

Was hopeful these would work

Was hopeful these would work well for me but they didn't. I wear a size 9 and most of shoes are Brooks brand. I found in these that even with considering the wide toe box there was just too much shoe in the forefoot. I think I would have needed to half size down. Didn't feel like there was enough cushion for these for long run days as well so ende...Lire la suite

Love these shoes, straight out of the box!

I've had other trail shoes, hiking shoes, running shoes and since breaking my big toe in 2016 have always ended up in pain in all of my toes/ball of my foot for any duration past about 1-1.5 hours. Les meilleurs souliers pour les pieds larges

J'en suis à ma 7e paires de Altra ! J'adore ces souliers autant pour courir, marcher et faire des randonnées. Je ne me vois pas changer de marque de souliers. Super confortables dès la sortie de la boîte.

I thought the shoes would

I thought the shoes would be red, but they're definitely more of a dark pink. Ended up returning and getting a different color/size.

Very light & comfortable but…

I find the insole does not give you enough cushion or support. The shoes feel somewhat flimsy. I will definitely replace the insole.
