Great shoes for caving and kayaking

These are really great as water shoes. I've used them in slippery caves as well and the grip is good. However wearing them for longer periods such as hiking short distances even, isn't comfortable as the material scratches and leaves blisters. So not quite as versatile to me as they are advertised.

Very practical

Works well for both walking shoes and for in the water. The inner mesh is snug around the foot so not the easiest to get on, but once you do they work well.

Canoe Tripping Shoe

Durable for canoe tripping year-round, great drainage through the fabric and holes, and extremely grippy soles, even on wet rocks. I find these just as good and less cumbersome than some of Astral's more heavy duty shoes. These are my new go-to shoe for backcountry tripping.

Comfortable!

These are very comfortable and easy to wear. I walked on different terrains, both in and out of the water and liked how they self drained. Even when wet, they didn't rub or irritate my skin. They grip well on wet rocks and/or slipper surfaces.
Highly recommend as a kayak or water sport shoe.

Nice, but small opening

Lovely shoes but the ankle opening is very tight making it very difficult to put on comfortably making them more like a tight slip on shoe than a lace up.

Otherwise they are a quality shoe that I think would hold up well to watersports.

These shoes are low profile, comfy, are flat and have low arch support. They’ll have great grip on wet surfaces.

Excellent Kayak Shoe

The Loyak kayak Shoe is very comfortable, easy to put on and off even when wet. Drain holes let the water out. I wear a light sock with it since some sand also gets in through the holes. Mine were red and I love the colour. The sole has an excellent tread for bracing against foot peddles and walking on rocks. They are so attractive and comfortable...Lire la suite

Perfect paddling shoes!

I bought these for paddleboarding and sea kayaking and so far they’ve been great! Since the tongue is sewed in, it’s a bit tight to get them on at first, but they seem to settle out totally fine. I ordered my usual size and didn’t have issues, but if you’re planning to wear them with socks, I would definitely size up.
