Barbour Wax Bar

Perfect to protect your investments. Not only the Barbour coat but your well-being, knowing you will be dry when it rains. Small bar, yes, but perfect for the intended use.

To protect my Barbour lightweight wax jacket

I recently bought from Altitude sports the Barbour lightweight wax jacket. I went onto the Barbour website and they recommend you apply this wax bar made specifically for the lightweight wax jackets and not use the Barbour wax thornproof dressing that is made for their regular weight jackets. Light Weight Jacket Wax Bar

After ordering the bar, it arrived promptly. It appears to be a very small amount, but since I haven’t had a wax jacket in a very long time, it is hard to evaluate whether the quantity will last for awhile. It definitely comes from a good company.

Un peu cher pour le prix

La barre de cire Barbour a permis de bien réimperméabiliser mon manteau d’été. La cire a permis de le protéger pendant une année en ne faisant que quelques retouches à des endroits stratégiques (ex. : épaules). Much easier than thornproofing

Much easier to rub on the wax with bar than heating up the thorn proofing in a can. My Barbour looks nice and slick

Not quite what I expected

Note to potential purchasers: this bar is pretty small. If you're thinking of buying this to wax a whole jacket, think again. This bar is definitely best for reproofing already waxed jackets. Other than that the product works great. Barbour's formula is tried, tested and true.

Great for canvas accessories!

I initially bought this wax bar for my Barbour jacket but realized I would require the thornproof dressing instead.
I instead used this wax bar for my FIlson canvas bags. They look absolute great and have great water resistance
