Spacious, slim, perfect for a day on the slopes

I used this bag on a few trips. On a back country trip i had no issue fitting all my emergency gear (probe, shovel, first aid, radio, locator), an extra thin layer, a snack and of course water. In-bounds its great for carrying snacks and a little extra gear. I also used it hiking and snowshoeing in the colder months. 5/5!

Pas adapté aux grandes personnes

Super sac de backcountry ! Vraiment bien pensé, mais le hic, c'est que même en choisissant le M/L, il est trop petit au niveau de la longueur dorsale pour une personne de 6 pieds et plus. Très malheureux ! Je vais me tourner vers un Osprey qui a une grandeur large.

Great pack

Great pockets, not too many compartments - simple but durable construction. Happy with this bag, but wished it came in brighter colours.

Good choice for skiing

I bought this pack for backcountrry ski days and for fast/light summer overnight trips. The pack would work very well for the ski trips, but I'm just not a fan of the way it is compartmentalized. All pockets are accessed from the top by zippers and there are two main compartments, in addition to a smaller pocket big enough for goggles, gloves etc....Lire la suite

One of the main compartments is plenty big enough to store all your avalanche gear plus some. The other main compartment is accessed via the back panel, meaning you have to take the pack off and work around the shoulder straps to access your stuff.

It's very attractive, it's very well made, and it seemed quite comfortable wearing it. But I found that I'd have a tough time packing it well - particularly for the summer overnighters. I'm just not a fan of too many compartments that sometimes limit what or where you can pack things. One other issue for me are the shoulder straps - I purchased the M/L size and the shoulder straps were just too short for me, having to fully extend them when wearing just a T-shirt. I would really have a problem when I'd be wearing winter clothing and a Goretex jacket. The straps have a sewn bend about 8cm from the bottom of the strap, and I would have had to rip those stitches out just to get the extra length available. As I was unwilling to do so when I wasn't sure I wanted the pack at all, I decided to return it. I'd be interested to know what the idea of the sewn bend is, if anyone knows…

So if you're looking for a ski pack only, it's a good choice. If, however, like me you want to use it for hiking in the summer as well, then there might be better choices out there. Lire moins
