Good starter shoe; can't fully trust the sizing chart.

For reference, I am a 5ft11 male who wears size 11 in street shoe.

I found that the Tarantulace shoes seemed to have some good reviews for the price. I ordered three different pairs (size 10, 10. 5, and 10. 5/11) and am glad I did. I ended up keeping the 10. 5 and sending back the other two.

As a casual climber I'm going to prioritize comfort over aggressiveness and these shoes fit the bill once you determine the proper size. The leather is supple out of the box, the lacing ensures you can still get that snug fit and the rubber sole is rigid and abrasive enough to ensure that proper climb. I would have appreciated other colours but I'm going climbing and not to the cat walk so its not a big deal.

I recommend these as a good pair of starter shoes. Just make sure you order a good range if ordering online or try them in-store if you can, because I'm not sure you can truly trust the sizing chart (which are always a challenge anyway for climbing shoes). Lire moins

Runs Small

Really wanted to keep this one. Bought as a gift for my husband. Bought the same size he has in a different version of the same shoe but unbelievable difference in fit. Much too small.

Très satisfait jusqu’ici, les chaussons

Très satisfait jusqu’ici, les chaussons sont très confortables, utilisation intérieure seulement. Je préfère les lacets aux velcros pour l’ajustement plus précis. Les matériaux semblent de bonne qualité et durables. Bonnes chaussures de débutant. Même taille que mes chaussures de ville.

Formerly reviewed this show with praise, but unfortunately the sole has split open not even 4 months in to using these shoes. for a beginner shoe they seemed okay but the quality is just not there. Fantastic shoe for the price

Been using these shoes for a couple months now and they have proved to be fantastic for the money, not an aggressive arch so I can wear them for the entirety of a 2 hour climb with no pain whatsoever. I have wide feet and often have issues with shoes but i have no qualms with these!

Great Beginner Climbing Shoe

Can't recommend this shoe enough for beginner climbers. Laces allow for perfect shoe fit. I do want to warn that this shoe fits VERY large. Would recommend trying on your size in person before ordering.
