Bought for Barbour dry wax product

Barbour has a line that uses dry wax fabric that can’t be reproof with thornproof wax. Nikwax seems to be the only solution i can find that is available in Canada. It arrived very fast and I’m happy for that.

Protect your investment in your Barbour Wax Jacket

I don't think this is a total replacement for traditional waterproofing your jacket with wax but instead use the spray in conjunction with the wax sold by Barbour. But for ease of application you can't beat Nikwax wax cotton proof spray. . It is simpler and easier to use than heating up the tin of wax. Wax no more...

This is a must have for those people who owns Fjallraven apparel. I myself find it hard to apply the wax on the G100 fabric. Thats why this is a good and might be even the best alternative to it. At first I was hessitant on the outcome but my goodness it was incomparable. Knikwax your simply the best...

Efficace mais odorant

Produit imperméabilisant très efficace mais à l’odeur persistante. Dans mon cas, la couleur originale du coton n’a pas été affectée par l’application du produit.

Cotton/Canvas style waterproofing

For the Fjallraven lovers out there I thought I'd try this as an alternative to the 'rub in the wax bar and hold the jacket in front of a heater' technique. This stuff is waaay different. It looks a lot like the suede water proofing you get for you shoes from the same company so I guess some kind of waterborne 'synthetic' wax. You have to do a lit...Lire la suite

tle work- use a wet cloth, apply liberally and rub in evenly or you'll get little white spots where the wax droplets land. Functionally it seems to work just as good as the Fjallraven wax - maybe a bit better- water definitely beads up. It's different because you won't get a wax patina look on your clothing - this stuff just soaks in. So not a Barbour thornproof or a like a heavy application of paraffin/beeswax blends. Solid Spray

Have used a NikWax spray in the past on shoes and it worked really well! I’m sure this is just as good!

Great stuff

Bought to use on a Fjallraven waxed cotton jacket I haven't treated in years. Im hoping it will be as effective as the Greenland wax at maintaining waterproofing as it is far more convenient to apply. Seems to smell the same as the Shoe Protector I use from nikwax so I am unsure what differentiates the products.

Decent waterproofing product

Applied on a cotton jacket. It works as long you follow the instructions. For the first 3-4 days it gives a vinegar odor.
