Very nice and confortable backpack

I got this backpack as a replacement for a 80L backpack I had used for several years for long trekking. Here are the positive points:

o access the main compartment. I did a few treks already, one with 42 pounds of gear and it was still very comfortable after a few hours walking. Still need to test it on a multi-days trip though. My only drawback is the max weight limit at 40 pounds. Lire moins

Extremely lightweight

Got this bag for my boyfriend and it works great for him. Super lightweight but still maintaining all the features necessary to make the pack functional. The ventilated back panel is excellent, and the straps are all very customizable.

Nice pack

The large/XL fits better than the Gregory M/L. I’m 5’11”. My back measures 21”. Seems like a nice balance of light weight and durable. I’d prefer no side zip as it would be lighter and more durable.

Awesome bag

This is my first backpack. I read so many review before I purchased and settled on this. I was conflicted between Aether and Atmos but finally what brought me over this was that the top pocked was bigger than Aether. Whilst Aether had a full "split" open of front this only had a side slit , I was okay with that. The back also had more "lightness" ...Lire la suite

Ok mid-weight bag

Overall a decent mid-weight bag. The big negative I find is the lack of bottom entry as I like to be able to get at my gear without emptying the entire bag

Best back pack

This is the best back pack I've owned. In a 4 day trip with over 40 pounds of weight, I didn't feel any pain on any of my body parts. I guess this is what they mean with anti gravity.
The only wish I has is they have a sleeping bag compartment on the bottom and an full access zipper for the middle compartment.

Fragile and not great for people with smaller waists.

I originally chose this pack because it fit very well and saved half a pound from the regular Atmos pack. The pack is nice and simple but has some issues which would refrain me from recommending this pack to anyone, especially those with a smaller waist.

aximum on my 30" waist. After the first day on my 5-day trip the waist belt was loose.
The white fabric on the shoulder straps is a poor choice and has already began yellowing (blue and black colors).
The outer fabric of the pack is also very fragile. I scraped the hip belt pocket on a rock during a scramble and that caused two small tears.

You'll likely find better luck with this pack if you are on the larger side. Lire moins
