Prolongs life of lamp

I can store my lamp and not worry about accidentally breaking it. Plus it diffuses light when used as a kind of table lamp. I glad that I bought it.

Petzl case

This is the second case I purchase for my Petzl headlamps. They are very appropriately sized, quite light yet still sturdy, and allow for very good illumination when the headlamp is used as a lantern. Also, being able to hang it is a definite plus!

Beware - will yellow and opaque over time

I purchased this light a few years ago to protect and expand the functionality of my headlamp. I agree with the other reviewers here on all the nice features and functions - battery storage, light protection, lantern use... 've only used this a couple times a year and stored it with care.

After contacting Petzl (just outside of the 3yr warranty period) I was told "This is normal for the color to change to yellow over time." I'd love to post a photo for all to see.

Super cool noctilight system

I really impressed with this system. It's protecting the lamp and also acts as a glowing mini lantern.

Great design

Great design! This case protects the headlamp, keeps headlamp dry and functions as a lantern. It is light and compact, does not use much space in my backpack. The lens is frosted and gives of a warm light instead of blinding people. The light button is a bit hard to push when the headlamp is in the case.
