Photon Pants - Men's

Chaud, légere et coupe vent. Facile a mettre en portant des bottes avec le systeme de zip sur les cotés. Tissu exterieur mince pour sauver du poids, utiliser avec prudence en foret. Branche peut facilement faire des troues

Warm. !

Warm and light. They fit smaller than I thought they would, but no way she's for me. I got a large. And have a 34 waist. I don't think I could fit too many layers under it, that's not really an issue because of their warmth. The side zips work great.

They don't come with sack.

As expected

Warm and good price point synthetic belay pant.

Less desirable design features:
1. bottom cuff could be larger or it would be great if they used an elastic cuff to stretch over ski boots. Workable as-is with full zips but not ideal.

Well made

I just bought them so I have not worn them in cold weather yet. However, the thickness of the pant with Primaloft Gold makes me think they will be quite warm. While they do have a thicker nylon or a “recycled Pertex Shield 2.5 layer” (whatever that means) reinforcement patches on the seat, knees and kick patches, the rest is just a thin nylon whic...Lire la suite

h doesn’t fill me with a lot of confidence that it will stand up to repeated use as an outside layer. For skiing I would probably cover them with a goretex shell. Great to keep you warm for when you stop skinning up when skiing or snowshoeing. Snaps at the top and bottom keep the pants in place when you zip up or down to vent some heat. The coils of the zipper are cover on the outside and have a baffle on the inside. They are made in England so the sizing chart, while accurate, is a little different than the North American standard. I’m 5’8” with a 34 waist, so a Large fits well but is a little long, which is not really an issue. Other reviewers have pointed out the lack of adjustment at the waist and I agree that would be nice. WARM and DURABLE

These are the pants you want when you want peace of mind. I wear them as is and also under my bibs when I know I'll be outside all day. Not sure why Rab doesn't make a women's version so I won't knock the fit. I'm 5'10" and wear a men's M.

Photon pants

I identified these pants as ‘it runs big’, but an appropriate amount to work as an over pant. Ideal for cooler weather where you may need to be stationary for long periods of time. I also plan to use a lighter weight sleeping bag while wearing pants (and jacket), when necessary.

no waist adjustment

lightweight and comfortabke although two sizes did not work . no waist adjustment and belt loops were flimsy and small.
