Exceptional!

I bought this snowpeak takibi fire and grill mainly for overlanding use. It is very portable as it can pack up very compactly and the build quality is exceptional. It is great to be able to have a fire anywhere you go!

I would buy this again and again.

Fortunately, the quality and the design of this Takibi kit will make sure it lasts a lifetime. Put it through some real rigorous testing over a 4 day camping trip this week and I can’t imagine life without it now.

Excellent pour la cuisine et fire camp

Tout est satisfait sauf la marque de soudage. J'ai pensé un usagé mais c'était la marque de soudage. Donc ne soyez pas surpris comme moi.

High Quality Fire Pit

The construction of this fire pit is far beyond any others that I can compare it to. I was initially very surprised at how heavy it actually is. This is because it is made out of a very thick gauge stainless steel. The steel itself is very high quality (316 stainless) and I expect it will last a lifetime. It is perfect for containing a campfire where there are no designated fire pits. I also plan to use it in my backyard.

The included fire-bridge provides multiple height options for grilling. As I plan to use charcoal with this, I intend to pick up the cast iron charcoal grate for it eventually.

The grill itself is a bit of a let down. It is made of chrome-plated steel, and will rust with very lttle use. Also, the "woven" pattern of the grill makes it very hard to clean. I believe there is a replacement stainless steel version available from Snow Peak.

The base plate is a thin piece of enameled mild steel, and will probably not last very long. I guess they had to cut cost somewhere.

Overall, it's a great piece of kit for car camping, overlanding, and even just for backyard use at home. Lire moins

Great fire bowl. Excellent construction.

I own a few different Snow Peak items and in general they are all extremely well built and designed for a lifetime. This is no different. Solid construction, solid welds, thick steel. It lit up well and held fire excellently. No warping or issues after and packs away nice and neatly. Expensive but worth it for me. Really happy with this one.
