s. I wanted some light to mid weight protection from the elements, a bit of grip for driving vehicles, biking etc.

I haven't worn them in torrential rains or anything, but I have noticed the palm side does get let in the wet especially when contacting anything like rainy door handles, handle bars... I would say they dry, or at least wick the moisture away so my hands haven't felt soggy or uncomfortable for to long. I was wearing them in the fall so If they were to get wet and have to deal with wind, from say a bicycle ride, I can't speak for how they would perform in those conditions.

I don't find the capacitive fingers very sensitive for the times I've used my phone. My previous pair (different brand) seemed to get a much more consistent and instant response on 'smart' screens.

A few little design details I appreciate on gloves are pull on tabs of some kind, and a mini clip that can keep the gloves together when packing/storing them, neither of which are present on this style.

They fit my Size 8 hand well, and do stretch out a little. They actually hold the stretch more than I expected. A common issue with me is the thumb could be longer, but that's probably an issue with my anatomy more than the gloves themselves.
