Outstanding jacket. It's a very thick fleece which makes it very warm. I use it in all conditions really. Outdoor as a jacket, under a GTX as a thermal layer, inside the house when it gets cold. The fit is somewhat roomy so take this in account.

I have owned two of the Denali jackets since 1998 and they are awesome and, sadly, eventually wear out. Seriously, I have used and abused two jackets over 20 years and only now have purchased a third. the heavy side of fleece jackets and I have always found that the pit-zips were the best way of regulating heat. I am 5' 10" and 182 pounds with an athletic build and a Men's Small fit well, leaving me with great mobility but not much room for layering underneath. That has never been a concern with this jacket, as I have always used it with the intent that I would be putting something over it if necessary. I really liked the fit, feel and quality of the jacket but couldn't get over the removal of the pit-zips and will continue to use my second beat up Denali "1" until I find another fleece with pit-zips. Was looking for a fleece midlayer that wasn't too typical. The different materials allows this mid layer to pop. Also the fit is perfect for me who is somewhat stocky while other brands have a slimmer but longer fit. The warmth surprised and would use as a standalone on 0 degrees plus weather.

This is not a fleece sweater that you use for activity, as it has poor visibility. This sweater is made for those nights you lounge and do minimal activity. It will keep you warm and retains heat. Fit is baggy, leaving room for extra layers if needed

Le DENALI 2 pour homme est une version « remasterisée » du manteau en molleton classique de The North Face. Il est confectionné en épais molleton recyclé Polartec 300 Series TNF. Le matériau Polartec 300 apporte une chaleur accrue par temps froid. Ce molleton est également traité d'un apprêt déperlant durable afin de bloquer le vent et permettre à la neige de perler sur la surface du tissu.
